Last week a neighbor invited me down to pick some peaches. I chose a few and they were delicious. I went back today and hopefully picked enough for a cobbler. They are very small but, oh, so delicious!
I am a retired court reporter now working part time as a proofreader. In December 2010 I returned to my roots in Deep East Texas to care for my aging mother after having lived in Arizona for over 30 years. I live on a farm in Nacogdoches County near the Louisiana border. This blog is a repository for pictures of subjects that I find interesting in my travels up and down the country roads throughout the Piney Woods. I love to take pictures of farm animals and equipment, old houses, barns and sheds and anything that has vines or rust on it.

What a pretty view - and they look so good!
Gorgeous picture! I want some cobbler!
You'll have to let us know if the cobbler turned out.
Kathy, they look delicious and somehow cool and refreshing lost in those green leaves. Great shot!
Oh this is pretty!
Peach cobbler....yummy! Those look so beautiful it's almost a shame to eat them! We're hoping for some fresh peaches soon! Enjoy.
