Caption This - Week 10

From the blog archives:  I've not been out and about lately and my supply of photos is running short.  I found this one from a few years back.  This fellow was actually a vendor at a regional flea market here in Texas.  His wife happened to be on hand to monitor their booth.  Otherwise, he might have lost an important sale.  Give me your best caption for this photo and come back next week to see all the fun captions.

Last week's photo was one of this series' favorites with my blog friends.  Here are just a few of the outstanding captions:

1.  "I'm telling ya, the Donald Trump comb-over wins every time" - by TexWisGirl at The Run*A*Round Ranch Report

2.  "Wrinkle cream, anyone have some?" - by Randy at Santa Fe Daily Photo

3.  "Don't forget to get your roots done dahling.  Only your hair dresser knows for sure" - by Jeanne of In Search Of

4.  "Cover Girl" - by Daniel at The Pixel Collective

5.  "I'm Beauty.  You should see Beaat" - by EG CameraGirl at East Gwillumbury CameraGirl

Some of last week's best captions were penned by

1.  Marie of A Colorful World - "These field rations sure have improved!"

What excuse do you think this Civil War renactor is giving for eating a hamburger and drinking a Sunkist orange drink at a local East Texas festival?  Submit your caption in your comment and be sure to check back next week to see all the great captions that I'm sure your blogger friends will contribute.

Last week's greatest caption awards go to:

Caption This - Week 2

Welcome to Week 2 of Caption This where I ask you, my blogger friends, to write a caption for today's photo.  This one should evoke some great humor.  You have all week, but be sure to come back next week to see my top picks for favorite caption.

Accolades for last week's captions go to:

1.  "I'm getting my uppers replaced today" - Birdman of pORTcITYdAILYpHOTO

Caption This

Okay, Blogger Friends, it's time to put on your caption cap and contribute your best caption for this photo.  In fact, I think I'd like to make Caption This a weekly staple of this blog.  So from now on (but probably not forever) Saturday evenings will be Kaptioning with Kathy.  You have all week to be creative and next Saturday I'll give a recap of the previous week's photo and captions and give you a new one to work on.  So kick back and relax and drag out your humor and return next Saturday to see how your caption stood up with others.

Write a caption for this photo!

Here's mine:

All right, class.  Today we'll be exploring the theory that apes originally walked upright

Caption This

Okay, blogger buddies, let's see which one of you can come up with the wittiest caption for this photo.  I snapped this one on a recent trip to the big flea market in Canton, Texas.  I had about three different captions in mind but couldn't decide, so that's where you come in.  I love reading your comments on my "caption this" posts.  Go for it!

Caption Me

I love it when others offer their suggestions for a photo caption, so please do so with this one.  The background for this photo:  Taken at the Phoenix Zoo as a camel handler brings one of his charges into the arena where children (and even adults) are offered rides on camels.  So give me your best thoughts!
