Farewell Patriots Park 297/365

This new high-rise building is nearing completion in downtown Phoenix rising up from what used to be Patriots Park between Washington and Jefferson.  The landscaping is done, the plaza is complete so there are just a few finishing touches left.  I don't know who the anchor tenants will be, but I will be glad when construction is finally over because the fencing around the building keeps me from getting a sufficient enough distance across the street from two historic buildings that I've been wanting to photograph for some time!

Questions Answered ~ Tracy and Teresa:  Grace Lutheran is affiliated with ECLA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) and is a part of the Grand Canyon synod. According to their website, graceinthecity.com, the ECLA is a branch of the Lutheran denomination which was formed some 20 years ago. I am ignorant as to the various synods of Lutheranism so this is somewhat Greek to me. The church is located at 3rd Street and Moreland, three blocks south of McDowell.

Your photo is nice though. I like the reflections though I would prefer a nice photo of Patriots Park instead. Do you have an old one by any chance?

I agree with Tracy...sorry to see some green space in downtown gone.

A nice building. The greenery is certainly very welcome.

That will be nice when the fence comes down!

It looks like the crane is reaching into the building. Very cool.
