About Me
- Kathy
- Nacogdoches County, Texas
- I am a retired court reporter now working part time as a proofreader. In December 2010 I returned to my roots in Deep East Texas to care for my aging mother after having lived in Arizona for over 30 years. I live on a farm in Nacogdoches County near the Louisiana border. This blog is a repository for pictures of subjects that I find interesting in my travels up and down the country roads throughout the Piney Woods. I love to take pictures of farm animals and equipment, old houses, barns and sheds and anything that has vines or rust on it.

What a beautiful flower. Nice close up.
It's a bit of an odd mix of plant, but i like it.

Lovely!
U is for Umbrella, please come and see. Thanks!
I always wondered what fairies did on rainy days. :-)
I like your playful imagination. Perfect choice for U.
I'm SO glad you put bars on your windows - how scary! We had a break in once in louisiana and he left a HUGE footprint by the fireplace. Even called himself "Bigfoot" , also in a nice neighborhood!
Awww ... so sweet to think of magical umbrellas!
That is just a beautiful Photo!
I can imagine a fairy or two sheltering under that gorgeous flower.
