I am a retired court reporter now working part time as a proofreader. In December 2010 I returned to my roots in Deep East Texas to care for my aging mother after having lived in Arizona for over 30 years. I live on a farm in Nacogdoches County near the Louisiana border. This blog is a repository for pictures of subjects that I find interesting in my travels up and down the country roads throughout the Piney Woods. I love to take pictures of farm animals and equipment, old houses, barns and sheds and anything that has vines or rust on it.

the vine softens up the whole scene. :)
Yes, looks like it!
Not sure how I feel about sign no trespassing, but you capture of this sign is fantastic!
i thought exactly what Tex said.. the vine is trying to soften the message and we put one up and they just ignore it...
New owners perhaps? Or maybe one too many unwelcome guests.
That would keep me out. I wonder if they have had some mischief going on around the place.
A sign like this always makes me wonder what the owners are hiding. Usually I would not even have wanted to trespass...until I saw the sign, that is.
I think that I would be VERY obedient!
