About Me
- Kathy
- Nacogdoches County, Texas
- I am a retired court reporter now working part time as a proofreader. In December 2010 I returned to my roots in Deep East Texas to care for my aging mother after having lived in Arizona for over 30 years. I live on a farm in Nacogdoches County near the Louisiana border. This blog is a repository for pictures of subjects that I find interesting in my travels up and down the country roads throughout the Piney Woods. I love to take pictures of farm animals and equipment, old houses, barns and sheds and anything that has vines or rust on it.

just so beautiful! look at those front paws! whew!
Those are some big paws.
It is really a big cat, they look so simular as the small domestic ones. I caress those paws of my Sofietje, but shouldn't try it with this boy.
bring on the archives.. he is just gorgeous and he does look very Kingly to me
Wow! This is a fantastic capture of this powerful and gorgeous animal!
The Lion King seems very relaxed!
This is a beautiful shot of the king. I don't believe I've ever been to the zoo when this guy wasn't asleep. I've been able to get outstanding photos of the tiger but that lion has always eluded me.
This is a nice shot of him. It shows what a proud beast he is, even if he lives in a zoo.
The coolest kind of king:)
He is quite handsome! I'm sorry you can't get out much, but I am enjoying your past photos.
Beautiful king and my favorite wild animal.
Such a majestic looking beast. I'm sorry you can't get out much to photograph- but these are great!
Looking soooo regal and self-assured!
