This little baby goat and his cousin, perhaps, were on display at the farmers market today adding some authenticity to a booth which sells goat cheeses. Baby goats are so cute ~ about the size of puppies.
Look at his beautiful eyes! This is really a great picture. I'm not very good with animals and people as subjects and I envy people who can get this kind of shot. Makes me think I can reach out and touch him.
Great shot, Kathy. I have a picture of a baby goat from my ramblings around Strawberry. I'll post it so you can take a look. I see how close you are coming to your 365th day...will this blog go away then? :(
I am a retired court reporter now working part time as a proofreader. In December 2010 I returned to my roots in Deep East Texas to care for my aging mother after having lived in Arizona for over 30 years. I live on a farm in Nacogdoches County near the Louisiana border. This blog is a repository for pictures of subjects that I find interesting in my travels up and down the country roads throughout the Piney Woods. I love to take pictures of farm animals and equipment, old houses, barns and sheds and anything that has vines or rust on it.
