I am leaving today for a week-long trip into Central Texas. I've posted photos to be published while I'm away but I won't be commenting until I return at the end of the week.
I am a retired court reporter now working part time as a proofreader. In December 2010 I returned to my roots in Deep East Texas to care for my aging mother after having lived in Arizona for over 30 years. I live on a farm in Nacogdoches County near the Louisiana border. This blog is a repository for pictures of subjects that I find interesting in my travels up and down the country roads throughout the Piney Woods. I love to take pictures of farm animals and equipment, old houses, barns and sheds and anything that has vines or rust on it.

So that's Vetch! I knew the name but couldn't remember what they looked like. Very pretty photo. Hope you have a nice time traveling. Be safe.

I like that name, Queen Ann's Lace. Vetch is much prettier than it sounds.
Happy Trails!
I do love Queen Anne's Lace...as long as it doesn't try to grow in my gardens! Enjoy your time in central Texas!
Roadside blossoms are always a joy to see while driving.
