An antique store in the small town of Rusk, Texas, hopes to capture some attention with colorful updates to some furniture pieces that no one would probably otherwise chose to purchase. A bright idea!
I am a retired court reporter now working part time as a proofreader. In December 2010 I returned to my roots in Deep East Texas to care for my aging mother after having lived in Arizona for over 30 years. I live on a farm in Nacogdoches County near the Louisiana border. This blog is a repository for pictures of subjects that I find interesting in my travels up and down the country roads throughout the Piney Woods. I love to take pictures of farm animals and equipment, old houses, barns and sheds and anything that has vines or rust on it.

Ah, sat in one of those chairs in my school years. Our 6th grade classroom had them. The teacher called them 'big kids' desks.
I spent many unhappy hours in those desk like the orange one. i like all the bright colors. I even had to fit crinolines in those desks
nice! :)
I think they are off to a good start.
I would buy that desk/chair! It would be a nice addition to the patio.
Snazzy!
The colors certainly brighten up the area and catches one's eyes!
Colourful colours will very likely attract a few customers.
This looks like AZ & NM in spirit, doesn't it!? :-)
