Lott Home ~ Mineola, Texas
This beautiful Southern prairie-style home was built in approximately 1918 by a prominent Mineola (pronounced minnie-OH-la) businessman. Today there are two cottages, Miss Vivian's Canning Room and the Garden Gate Cottage, that are available as a bread and breakfast venue in this sweet little East Texas town of 5,611 residents.

big, grand place. :)
We've been going to Mineola to the Tractor Supply and grocery store on a weekly basis...we'll have to scope this place out one weekend. Thanks for sharing!

We've been hoping to get up to Mineola to visit friends..ahhh, this is wonderful to be able to see this. Thanks.
This is beautiful Kathy, and I'll bet its gorgeous inside!
A stately looking residence. The porch looks like it would be a great place to rest and enjoy some libations with a friend or two.
Love the prairie-style architecture -- especially the windows.
Beautiful old home and you framed it nicely with the flowers in the left foreground.
A grand home in a park like setting, who could ask for a nicer place to live.
be still my heart!! oh, what a grand old girl! thank you for the treat of seeing her. blessings ~ tanna
This is an absolutely gorgeous home. I could definitely see myself sipping some Fuzzy Navels on that front porch. What is going on with the upstairs windows? They appear to be boarded up on the lower half. Is it my eyes playing tricks?
Oh I love this wonderful house. Would be great to sit there with a tea....
Thanks for sharing!
