Now that is a true antique! I love those cups (or whatever they are called) on the back wheel. That must be for loosening the soil and plowing the fields.
I am a retired court reporter now working part time as a proofreader. In December 2010 I returned to my roots in Deep East Texas to care for my aging mother after having lived in Arizona for over 30 years. I live on a farm in Nacogdoches County near the Louisiana border. This blog is a repository for pictures of subjects that I find interesting in my travels up and down the country roads throughout the Piney Woods. I love to take pictures of farm animals and equipment, old houses, barns and sheds and anything that has vines or rust on it.

Oooh, very rustique! I saw a few things yesterday that made me think of you. Later though!

Great shot, Kathy. I see some yellow on the wheels...are we sure this didn't used to be green? :)

Beautiful! I saw an old tractor near Seguin, Texas yesterday and didn't have a camera.
I love those wheels (and is that yellow paint there?)
I'm fed up with my new layout! I can't figure out how to create a sidebar with all my links, profile, and CDP. Time to revert!
It's a John Deere!
I'm sure that was the business when it was young;-)
The rust is GREAT!
