I am a retired court reporter now working part time as a proofreader. In December 2010 I returned to my roots in Deep East Texas to care for my aging mother after having lived in Arizona for over 30 years. I live on a farm in Nacogdoches County near the Louisiana border. This blog is a repository for pictures of subjects that I find interesting in my travels up and down the country roads throughout the Piney Woods. I love to take pictures of farm animals and equipment, old houses, barns and sheds and anything that has vines or rust on it.

Pretty cool! I'm sure it has quite a hyped engine. ;) Love those wide white sidewalls, too.
Pickups, esp. old one, are terrific images to capture. Love the motto "running from state to state" considering the product.
Wonderful capture!
I love the contrast of the shiny wheels on the rusty truck. Moonshine Express, eh?
Love the whitewalls and rims. Moonshine Express? Liquor store? Package store? Used cars? I'm trying to guess.
it's rusty, it's old, its beautiful...
This is a great find. I like that it's rusty. That name reminds me of stories my grandfather told.
I like it too.
cute. :)
