About Me
- Kathy
- Nacogdoches County, Texas
- I am a retired court reporter now working part time as a proofreader. In December 2010 I returned to my roots in Deep East Texas to care for my aging mother after having lived in Arizona for over 30 years. I live on a farm in Nacogdoches County near the Louisiana border. This blog is a repository for pictures of subjects that I find interesting in my travels up and down the country roads throughout the Piney Woods. I love to take pictures of farm animals and equipment, old houses, barns and sheds and anything that has vines or rust on it.

Looking very dapper in the scarf.
Aww what a pretty little doggie.
Lovely dog -- cute with his bandana. :)
Kathy, I am just catching up from a few days off myself. Hope your Mom is doing well. LOVE all the animal photos and, of course, the courthouse!! But, my favorite is the peacock collection!! Oh, my! How gorgeous are they?! Beautiful photos. blessings ~ tanna
great shot, i feel like i could reach in and stroke his fur.
Also wonder how your Mother is doing?
The dog looks pretty friendly; hope it's not the one who bit your Mom.
Awe! I love min schnauzers! I sometimes babysit one for friends. They are wonderful!
What a nice hair cut!
I have been busy the last few weeks so I haven't been able to try the Topaz Adjust yet. The picture of the girl feeding the ducks is right out of my old Minolta camera. It still takes good pictures.
hot, hot, hot.
What a pretty, compact looking little thing.
Love that sporty scarf. :)
