Maven

Meet Maven ~ one of the most adorable little pups I've encountered in a long time.  She picked out some special friends of mine to become her humans a couple of weeks ago, although they had been anxiously awaiting her arrival for about two months.  I've been so wrapped up with the sale of my house I finally got a chance to go meet her today, and she is just precious.  She is so fast it was virtually impossible to take a picture of her.  She zips around like a wind-up toy and she is already practicing that beagle howl.  I hope to see Maven again soon because her human mom says she is growing so fast these puppy days will soon be gone.

House Update:  Buyer has been approved for loan, all docs are in, I'm told I need to go to the title company to sign everything.  Tomorrow I move the few things I'm keeping into storage, over the weekend will move some stuff to my daughter's, housecleaning on Tuesday, walk-through on Wednesday, close on Thursday!  Yee-ha!

Wow, you are getting down to the wire!

That pup is the cutest. Look at those eyes! My sister has a beagle - they are cute, but very rambunctious!

Ohmygosh, she is so cute! That is a great photo, too. Pet photos are difficult for me. Congrats on the sale of your home, Kathy. I know that was a lot of work. I'm sure you are glad that part is almost over.

You'll be so happy when it's done, Kathy. I envy the fact that you've likely gotten rid of a whole lot of stuff you really don't need. I should do that!

LOVE Maven! Very cute.

Maven is adorable! But, what I really enjoyed were the great yard sale stories, especially the red crock pot story! I had a couple of things I wanted to sell and thought about Craig's list but now I'm having second thoughts. Maybe I'll just stick with a yard sale.

I hate to think of you leaving town and we never got a chance to meet in person.

I haven't checked your blog is awhile - just discovered you're moving. Congratulations on selling your house and having a successful garage sale. I'll be looking forward to seeing your beautiful photos of Texas. I moved my mom out here to California from Oklahoma 5 years ago - it's an adjustment for everyone, but I felt the thing to do. Best of luck to you on your upcoming move!

What an adorable little fellow!!! I can just feel how soft those ears are.
The house sale has gone better than some I've heard of. That's wonderful! You're getting things done so quickly and are well on your way to Texas. Enjoy your time with your daughter and Em.
