Freddy Krueger Terrorizes 7th Drive 100/365

My neighbor's great-nephew Shane hung out with us during our annual Halloween candy table at the head of our cul-de-sac during the evening. He was very gentle around the little ones and removed the mask (which was REALLY scary-looking from a distance of about five feet) while they chose their candy treats but he was not so kind to older kids and adults. He would hold out the bowl of candy with his left hand and when they stuck their hand in the bowl he would grab their hand with his claw! The best part of the evening was when he started chasing a bunch of adult trickers and had them screaming their way down the street! A good time was had by all!

Today's News: A drunk hedgehog was hospitalized after he was found rolling around in an orchard after eating a pile of fermented apples in Devon, England. The little critter (nicknamed "Tipsy" by rescuers) was squealing loudly when found and taken to the Prickly Ball Hedgehog Hospital (it's a real place -- Google it if you're skeptical) and woke up with a staggering hangover!
Today in History: Magician Harry Houdini died in Detroit at the age of 52 of gangrene and peritonitis that developed after his appendix ruptured.
